The company was established in 1993. Since the beginning it specializes in international transit and stevedores more than 25% of all Latvian loads. In 1998 the port received a Special Economic Zone status. Large tax discounts allows the company to strategically invest and the Free Economic Zone status creates great conditions for European Union to third country transit.
