Protein additives

Protein additives is a product that‘s enriched in protein, biologically active ingredients, minerals, ferments, anti-occidants and other components that are needed to optimize and rationalize the ration of an animal. Protein additives are rich in proteins of animal origin (from 50% to 75%), fats, vitamins, microelement salts, anti-oxidants and ferments. Use of these components optimizes the animal‘s metabolism, development and influences faster growth.

Meat meal

Meat meal is manufactured in refineries by grinding and drying out of meat parts, bone remains and inner organs of the animal that aren‘t suitable for consumption. Meat meal is used as animal fodder. It‘s rich in protein and other important ingredients:

• Protein 50%;
• Ash 28-36%;
• Calcium 7-10%;
• Phosphorus 4.5-6%;
• Lysine 2.75%;
• Methionine 0.55%;
• Magnesium, Sodium and other.

There are various kinds of meat meal and their qualities differ depending on the animal it was made of, the supplements added, meat and bone ratio.

Feather meal

Feather meal is manufactured by partially melting feathers at extremely high temperature and pressure and by grinding the produced mass later. It contains large amounts of protein, useful fats and fibers. Feather meal is used for animal fodder.

Typical composition of feather meal:

• Source protein 75% (minimum);
• Ash 4% (maximum);
• Source fats 8% (maximum);
• Source fiber 3% (maximum);
• Moisture from 4% to 10%.

Blood meal

Blood meal is a great source of protein and amino acids that’s used as animal fodder.

Typical composition of blood meal:

• Protein 80-86%;
• Calcium 0,25%;
• Phosphorus 0,21%;
• Lysine 6.9-7,28%;
• Valine 5.2%;
• Hystine 3%;
• Arginine 2.35%;
• Metionine 1%;
• Source fat 1%;
• Source fiber 1%

Hemoglobin

Hemoglobin is a red blood cell protein that carries oxygen. It’s extracted from blood and is used as fodder when extremely high protein source is needed. It contains a high level of protein and lysine as well as is easily digested. Hemoglobin is a safe source of proteins and is used as an additive in various animal fodders.

Typical composition of hemoglobin meal:

• Source protein 80-92%;
• Water 10% (maximum);
• Ash 6% (maximum);
• Fat 2% (maximum).
