UAB Grūdoteka cooperates with international suppliers from all over the world and supplies its customers food grade and technical sunflower, rapeseed and soybean oil products. Technical oil and its products are used for biofuels, and edible oil – for cooking.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower seeds are used for extraction of valuable oil – one of the most popular modern food industry products. Sunflower seeds contain a number of polyunsaturated fatty acids, it is rich in magnesium, B vitamins, folic acid, and linoleic acid – a key component of this oil.

Although this oil is used in food production, but because of its softening properties it is common in products of cosmetics. For this reason, sunflower oil is one of the healthiest oils that can be used for both food as well as for improvement of skin and hair condition.

Rapeseed oil

Rapeseed is known as one of the oldest and most valuable vegetable oils. According to nutrition experts, rapeseed oil has the best percentage composition of fatty acids. Rapeseed oil has the least saturated fats of all kinds of oil. This oil is used and appreciated not only in food technology, but also in industry as animal feed and biodiesel.

Soybean oil

Soybean oil is extracted from soy beans. In food production, refined soybean oil is one of the most widely used oils. Because of high ignition point, it is ideal for baking. It is used extensively in the production of margarine and other food products: bread, mayonnaise and non-lactic cream coffee.

Because of drying properties, soybean oil is also widely used in the manufacture of oil and soy-based printing inks.
